About us
Write Now! was founded in 2004 by Claire Frank and George Wicker.
Our aim was to create an informal group that encourages its members to write, improve their writing and get work published.
The only firm requirement is that members should be working seriously on writing, either poetry, fiction (short stories or novels) or non-fiction. Here are some guidelines for prospective members.
Write Now! has grown steadily. we now have 18 subscribed members and regularly invite guests to speak at meetings. In 2006 we ran our first short story competition (to be repeated in 2008).
If you are interested in joining the group, please contact either Claire (01359 242305) or George (01284 767734) or e-mail us for more information.
