Claire Frank, born in Elmswell on a farm, left at the earliest opportunity to go and live in a city. Worked in Community Education, met Barbudan husband in Leicester, went to live in Barbuda, became an artist, had three children and wrote a couple of articles that were published. Decided to be a writer, came back to the UK so children could get secondary education. Will return to Barbuda on the day the children leave school.
